Twin sails brewing, Dat Juice, Canadian brewers massing citrus in tundra conditions

At the outset, I had never heard of this obscure Canadian brewery, but if the malt is bubbling I’ll dip my mash paddle in it. Let’s set the minimalist energy drink aesthetic aside for a moment and focus on how God god damn refreshing this beer is. To clarify, this isn’t some citrus adventure with depth; but what it does it does so well. It is peach bellini and tangerine spritzer.

The boil hops are either fuggles or outright nonexistent. This is one dimensional sparkly pineapple Fanta. There’s no grass or sod, it’s almost the logical nexus of all post boil whirlpool massaging. It crushes harder than an overweight friend-zoned bando. A bit more silkiness to the mouthfeel and depth to the clementine peel would be appreciated but it does more right than it does wrong, and is one of the marvelously simple accessible works like the hunger games where you can knock it, but teenage girls will consume it lovingly.
