A highly lactic saison that has one foot in the American wild grave not unlike CD7 or Saison Bernice. I actually enjoy the more focused and nuance approach of this tart lemongrass, Fuji apple, Chardonnay oak, puckering tannic and white grape fastball high and outside.
It is anomalous to drink this in the frigid 68 degree winter nights, but I am sure I will get my chance when California burns to the ground in 3 months.
I just might enjoy this more than Pulling Nails, two totally different beasts but both surely worthy of your attention.
