I have always had mixed feelings about the blunt acidity from Lambickx, on one hand the blend feels closer to a doesjel or de Cam Oude lambic in the dry and cheese rind sort of musk. However it fails to deliver a real sharpness or depth to the mouthfeel beyond that initial lemon and gruyere. That fact coupled with the price tag that is higher than Drie OG and it’s a hard sell.
Life is about variety and these are the purple otter pops in the pajoten box that you appreciate, but maybe won’t pop open first. Keep a couple lil orphan oranges around to mix it up between loonz.
