That grand cru low carb meets an endlessly complex nose of chili, oak, sweet brandy, cinnamon, and caramel. The taste drops wave after wave of heavy handed albeit delicious adjuncts that dovetail from spicy to earthy to sweet cognac and a huge chocolate finish not unlike Mexican hot cocoa.

Despite all my chicanery, this is an exceptional stout well deserving of the attention it currently receives.

Cali Brandy Huna, forever the weakest Huna. Lowest barrel presence, light sweetness and barely a rung above the base beer itself. Admittedly still pretty legit though.

Very difficult to justify the cost of entry when the base beer is already exceptional and this doesn’t come within a country mile of the other treatments. Stop skimping and get a double barrel you poor fuck.

It wasn’t bad in execution, just a mediocre set up that couldn’t promise much in the payoff unless this went ultra Ph and hit some Wanderer type of shit. Achievement unlocked if you finish a whole 750ml to your domepiece.

This was mediocre and the cherries served to underscore an already saccharine malty base but, things could have gone a lot worse .

I get the jist, some people love these fruited stouts, I just don’t. You can’t really rely on my opinion for this field of jammy jam stouts, it is likely a good beer, I just can’t feel it.

Awesome herbal and salty menthol nose, that sounds shitty but is tough to capture accurately. The taste has a woodruff opener and a long resonant tartness that just sustains a light lemon and wheatgrass for days bro.

Just cloying to the maximum like drinking imperial martinellis on a 5 hour boil.

Fantastic beer and intensely drinkable
Despite the exotic profile. This entire brewery is killing it in their farmhouse/sour/wheat ale program top to bottom.

It wasn’t as bad as expected but that cedar isn’t something I had a throbbing boner to taste in my sours. Worth a spin to get an idea of this ONE OF A KIND EXECUTION.
