It’s like when Californians try and make fattening food.
This is amazing on the nose with mosaic hops blasting a juicy j symphony. But things take a maltier sweeter turn on the taste with a heavy sticky mouthfeel. It is still pretty dank but not g13 levels. Aserose and grapefruit on the backend make it pretty okay, but they make better dipas. Serial.
This is their best double ipa, in my opinion, but their DIPAs tend to be overly sweet. If you can get your hands on Fathead’s Hop Juju, you might be impressed with what we do in Ohio.
Totally agree, I like the other DIPA that they make more, the Lake Eerie or whatever it is. Great beers.
