Beachwood BA Jean Quad van Damme. This might be one of the best beers of the night. Sniper 14.5% clean and dry, similar to bb4d. No homer, absolutely phenomenal.

Ok accuse me of homerism, but seriously this is the best beer Beachwood has ever made. No fig or sticky turbinado sugar, this is a fantastic old ale tasting quad. The slick oaky character lingers and just delivers hard. Think of bb4d meets ba cuir, just a touch of caramello sweetness but awesome clean finish. Highly recommended.

And of course 1 per person, 100 bottles released. God fucking damnit.

@sunkingbrewing Well here’s a Timmie joke about yo mama that you might not like

This beer’s malts was loud but it’s bite wasn’t vicious. This is a wispy clean and highly attenuated ba stout that is thin and almost European in execution. There is a tasty chocolate malt and brownie batter profile to the wateriness and the barrel contributes a sense of depth and toastiness from the oak.

This is kinda like if you blended Czar Jack and Central Waters BB stout, you get this nimble tasty hybrid. A type of ba stout fast disappearing from today’s sky high FG marketplace. Def worth seeking out.

CELLARMAKER Tiny Dankster, this same crackly resinous sharply alpha experience as Sri Laga but with a touch of honey in the closer and a Hoppy Birthday sort of croosh level.

Very tasty albeit a bit too alpha oily in the finish but makes it more substantial than the abv would let on, liking this distinct crisp hoppy crackle and hard mineral profile to their water. Pretty legit.

Minus points for not having a specific saison designation on their growler labels

Proceed to jacking it

Dark horse bb plead the 5th upside down label pappy edition, RUMORED. Lacks the abv or viscosity of previous batches, still amazing and their finest beer by a mile

This is a slicker more nimble vintage, most coconut but lacking a roast and substantial body. Taste is consistently phenomenal and lies closer to the parabola pin than the bcbs from 2012, still great. Let me underscore this, dark horse sometimes has some missteps but this beer always redeems them immeasurably.

I have a dark horse boner.
