I think many of their ambitious beers are predicated on shock value and their price point often does not match the quality of what is presented. Perhaps this is an import/freshness/personal taste issue. BUT I DONT GIVE A FUCK.
You might be right on the freshness (and obviously the personal taste). Saw a BrewDog bottle in the US a couple of months ago (Punk IPA) and noticed the 6% ABV. Punk IPA has been 5.2ABV for a couple of years. Sure enought the best by date was sometime in 2011
